Milano centrale station

Milan, again

Milano centrale shaky 1 We came back to Milan on the night of January 5th, and had one night to spend before catching our flight to Delhi from Malpensa airport the next morning. Our reservations that night were at the three star Hotel Bernina, which was about 300 feet from the hotel, and was very very nice. We'd found a €60 per night deal on the web to stay there, and it was clearly worth more than that. Ah, the joys of traveling off-season.

For dinner that night, we had take-out pizza from the pizzeria across the street, which turned out to be excellent. And we slept much better than the night before.

Milano centrale shaky 2 The next morning, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the hotel, which wasn't quite as nice as the one we'd had the previous morning in Florence, but could definitely hold its own. We filled up and then walked over to the Milano Centrale railway station, and took the Malpensa Express bus to Malpensa.

The photographs on this page were taken by Shivani from the bus -- hence the shakiness. But I htink they're beautiful, so they're here.
